Firm

Statement

A firm is a production unit that converts resources into goods and services.

Notes

In H2 Economics the terms firm and producer are used interchangeably. A firm is the agent on the supply side of a market: it organises the factors of production into output, and its conduct is studied through its objectives, its costs and revenue, and the market structure it operates within.
